We had one more day in Sedona, which I had filled with plans to see the history museum, Tlaquepaque Arts Village and the iconic Chapel of the Holy Cross. Previous hiking goals were dashed by hail and light snow, which was fine with me as I feel I have proven my hiking mettle to everyone’s satisfaction. I honestly thought we had nothing further to discuss.
We were joined, however, by Shopping Ron, who is less frustrating than Aiport Ron, but equally unpredictable and shockingly loose with his credit card. (See previous purchases in China and Sicily). It is never a good thing when Ron starts to ask questions about shipping prices. I’ve sworn secrecy as to the “adoption” fee for this new family member but the shipping price for this bronze beauty was in the triple digits!
I’ll leave you with just a couple of photos before we go pack up for the drive to Phoenix. Here’s me, finally framed well in a photo by Ron. And then Ron in Tlaquepaque waiting for me to put the camera down and move on.

Absolutely love Ron’s new friend! What is her name ?

Because I didn’t contribute anything towards his purchase, I was allowed to name him;) Because we were so smitten with his beatific face, I named him Mr. Happy.
