Ron’s travel underwear journeys to Greece!

Good morning from Athens! We’re just up here after the typical long and sleepless post-travel day. The above pic is the Acropolis view from our room – grandeur and eternal elegance. The below pic is the sad contrast… the goings-on in our room – Ron, washing his underwear in the sink.

He spent 36 hours in that underwear, popped it under the bathroom tap for a minute, dried it on a shelf in the closet and …BAM…he’s back in it! I, on the other hand, organizer and packer extraordinaire, arrived in Europe with no toothbrush somehow, and Ron, who is supposed to be splitting this trip with me 50/50, refused to cover half the tooth brush I had to buy at the Frankfurt airport and I had to put it on my own credit card, thereby guaranteeing publication of photos like the one above.

  1. Well, Valerie….I don’t think that was very nice of him! Payback is a b—-, or so I’ve heard! What a great room-with-a-(spectacular)-view! I loved, loved loved Greece and Athens was where we started, too. Can’t wait for more!

  2. Hello Valerie!

Thank you for including me on your travel dialog.

Your toothbrush/underwear story gave me a BIG LAUGH to start the day here.

It is beginning to warm up although more rain is expected next week — delaying the clean-up of our messy backyard and planting the vegetables.

May you have great weather and many interesting experiences.

    Warm wishes….
